Fallschase Community Development District
The Fallschase CDD encompasses an area of approximately 691.78 contiguous acres of land within Leon County, Florida, bounded generally on the north by U.S. Highway 90, bounded on the south by Lafayette Heritage Trust, bounded on the east by Groveland Hills subdivision and bounded on the west by Weems Road.
The Fallschase Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on October 23, 1997 by the Board of County Commissioners of Leon County, Florida Ordinance No. 97-18, as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The infrastructure needed to serve the development consists of roadways, utilities, signage, storm water, landscaping, amenities, and miscellaneous improvements, which together will comprise a system of improvements serving the needs of and benefiting the developable land within the District. Some of the storm water, roadway and street signalization costs will be shared between the District and the developer of the commercial and mixed use areas adjacent to boundaries of the District.
